As a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for providing guidance, explaining, preparing, and completing accurate tax-related forms for clients, including multiyear, multi-state, year-end tax forms and providing clients with IRS audit support. Complete E-filing, provide printed copies of returns for clients to review, signing and e-file these forms to IRS and state agencies.

The Receptionist is responsible for projecting a professional and courteous attitude during all customer interactions. He/She will be responsible for greeting customers in person and assisting with routine telephone inquiries.
Greet all customers in a friendly yet professional manner.
Manage customer flow.
Maintain office image. Keep waiting area neat and clean.
Answer telephone promptly and courteously. Every effort should be made to answer the telephone by the second ring.
Turn callers into customers. Encourage customers to come in as soon as they call. Schedule appointments when appropriate.
Contact customers and advise them when their check/return is ready for pick-up.
Hand out checks and tax returns as required.
The receptionist may also be responsible for clerical and administrative duties such as filing.
Considering the receptionist is usually the first person your customer sees when they enter Jackson Hewitt, it is critical that they embody everything that Jackson Hewitt represents – Fast, accurate, professional and above all friendly!
This candidate must have excellent interpersonal and verbal skills. He/She must possess a strong commitment to superior customer service as well as a proven ability to multi-task and be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
