Job Description:

Caregivers take on the role of assisting clients with activities of daily living. 

These tasks may include, but are not limited to:

• Personal Care (bathing, toileting, grooming)

• Meal Prep

• Medication Reminder

• Transfers Using Assistive Equipment

• Transportation

Job Requirements:

· Must be able to pass background checks

· Drug screen required 

· Valid driver’s license

· Valid vehicle insurance

General summary of job duties:

· Assist individuals with keeping a clean, safe, and healthy environment

· Transport individuals to different places in the community as needed

· Assisting with daily activities and other needs

· Administer medication

· Encourage independence while still providing supports

· Follow programs and safety plans

· Attend monthly staff meetings

· Understand and complete data and documentation daily

· Keep a positive attitude and help find new ways to assist with bettering the lives of the people that you support
