Job Title:  Parts Counter Person

Sells heavy duty truck and trailer parts and equipment in repair facility or parts store by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Ascertains make year, and type of part needed, inspects worn, damaged, or defective part to determine replacement required, or advises customer of part needed per description of malfunction. Discusses use and features of various parts. Reads catalog, microfiche viewer, or computer for replacement part stock number and price. Fills customer orders from stock. Prepares sales slip or sales contract. Receives payment or obtains credit authorization. Wraps or bags merchandise for customers. Advises customer on substitution or modification of part when replacement is not available. Examines returned part to determine if defective and exchanges part or refunds money. Marks and stores parts in stockroom per prearranged system. Collects money from COD customers and records transactions on customer receipt. Receives and fills telephone orders for parts. Takes inventory of stock. Prepares parts for shipping via UPS, Fed-Ex, or LTL. Determines specific pricing level for customer based upon volume potential. Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line. If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer. Assist outside sales representatives with their orders. Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up. Solicit assigned accounts by phone. Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process.  Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person. Provide the same high level of service to the other dealership departments as is given to other customers. Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified. Exceptions must be approved by the Parts Manager or Assistant. Ensure that all charge sales are signed by the customers. When making tax-exempt sales other than to a charge or cash account, ensure that the customer’s full name, address, ICC number, and signature is obtained. Present the customer with the white copy of the invoice after removing the “tear strip”. When doing business with regular cash customers, ensure that their “cash amount” numbers are recorded to assure proper customer tracking. Keep front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered. Advise Parts Manager when areas of the department are not in satisfactory condition. Keep current on new products and product updates. Participate in all training programs that are made available. If customers pay by invoice, obtain the following information: Form of payment (if by check, include check number), amount of payment, received by (your name), date, and any change given. Working with all departments in harmony. Must have a working knowledge and understanding of the company’s Job Safety Analysis pertaining to this position. Must have a working knowledge and understanding of the company’s safety policy.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or the equivalent. Computer knowledge required. Professional personal appearance. Knowledge of automotive parts. Will be trained on dealership’s parts inventory system.

Job Title:  Parts/Delivery Driver

Drive truck or automobile over established route to deliver and pick up parts and equipment for the dealership. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors. Pick up parts and equipment from customers, satellite stores, and vendors, to be coordinated with the Parts Manager, Inventory Control Administer, Parts Counter people, or Shipping and Receiving Clerk before leaving.  Complete a log at the time of delivery and request recipient’s signature. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts. Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department. Wash outside of truck weekly. Participate in all available training programs. Be responsible for the basic upkeep of the truck: check oil with each fill-up, ensure that the truck is lubricated the first week of each month, and get annual safety inspections before they are due. Operate a forklift. Examine all parts and materials when picking up from local suppliers. Working with all departments in harmony. Must have a working knowledge and understanding of the company’s Job Safety Analysis pertaining to this position and positions this individual supervises. Must have a working knowledge and understanding of the company’s safety policy.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma the equivalent. Computer knowledge required. Professional personal appearance. Knowledge of automotive parts. Will be trained on dealership’s parts inventory system. Professional personal appearance required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: 

Valid Commercial Driver’s License. Forklift certified.

Job Title:  Body Shop Mechanic

Repairs damaged bodies and body parts of automotive vehicles such as medium and heavy duty trucks by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Positions dolly block against surface of dented area and beats opposite surface to remove dents. Fills depressions with body filler, Straightens bent automobile frames with pneumatic frame straightening machine. Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces. Refinishes repaired surface. Aims headlights, aligns wheels, and bleeds hydraulic brake system. Paints surfaces after performing body repairs. Repairs or replaces defective mechanical parts. Not Afraid of Heights (Requires work up to 15’ on ladders). Must have proper knowledge of SMC, Fiberglass, Plastic and Sheet Metal repair procedures. Working with all departments in harmony. Must have a working knowledge and understanding of the company’s Job Safety Analysis pertaining to this position and positions this individual supervises. Must have a working knowledge and understanding of the company’s safety policy.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. ASE certification preferred. One year certification from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. General mechanical skills and computer knowledge required.

Oasis Systems is a premiereDepartment of Defense (DOD), FAA and NRC contractor providing exceptionalprogram management and engineering support to the Air Force’s Networking and Digital PEOs – including the Weather Data Center at Offutt AFB.

The successful candidate will provide Data Center and Cloud Computing Engineering support to the Air Force Weather Systems Branch in the PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB), directly supporting the planning, procurement, testing, implementation, operations and sustainment of Information Technology (IT) components and systems in the Strategic Weather Data Center supporting the AF Weather Enterprise.  This position supports the Air Force Weather Systems Branch Operating Location at Offutt AFB, NE.

The Data Center Engineer duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Design Data Center infrastructure solutions to meet Air Force functional and shared infrastructure weather community requirements      while adhering to architecture standards, policies, baseline management and cyber security requirements for the Air Force and DoD.
  • Analyze requirements to develop accurate technical estimates and cost trades, and produce detailed materiel solution procurement documentation for Data Center solutions and technical refresh      activities supporting Air Force Weather functional requirements and common/shared infrastructure capabilities.
  • Assist program managers with analyzing requirements,      developing derived requirements, and crafting technical requirements and guidance for Performance Work Statements associated with needed capabilities.
  • Perform technical evaluations on vendor proposals for Data Center solutions and technical refresh activities associated with Air Force Weather functional requirements and common/shared infrastructure      capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain technical baseline information for Air Force Weather functional requirements and/or common/shared      infrastructure capabilities
  • Manage capacity analysis requests and tasks to determine if new requirements can be accommodated by existing systems without increasing risks to mission essential functions.  
  • Manage and perform detailed reviews on configuration change requests associated for Air Force Weather functional requirements      or common/shared infrastructure capabilities to ensure compliance with policies, priorities and the architecture transition plan.  Perform      audits as necessary following change requests and implementations to      maintain accurate technical baseline information.    
  • Evaluate existing and new weather requirements, develop primary and alternative technical solutions and estimates, and ensure  proper and complete systems engineering (to include training,      documentation, and logistics) to ensure subsystem and system performance is achieved in accordance with program requirements and specifications.
  • Participate in program reviews, IPTs, project implementation meetings, customer meetings, engineering meetings, cyber security meetings, and test activities associated with Air Force Weather      functional and shared Data Center systems.  Author requirements or      tasks for prime contractor to perform analysis, design, implementation, or disposal work for a variety of Data Center components, systems, or      capabilities. 
  • Participate in evaluate studies including capacity analysis for new requirements against existing infrastructure systems or      capabilities
  • Provide system/program engineering, technical support      and technical training to support programs/initiatives, including but not limited to: acquisition, development, integration, testing, sustainment, continued evolution, deployment/fielding and installation, and operations oversight
  • Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with AF SEAM      processes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science  (or equivalent education) and 5 years of relevant experience in DoD or commercial Data Centers
  • Must have a current Security+ certification.       CISSP certification is desirable.
  • Must have a strong foundation in IT Data Center systems planning and implementation.  Candidates must have experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and demonstrated IT knowledge/experience in at least 3 of the following Data Center technology areas:       Networks, Operating Systems, Storage Arrays, Servers, Virtualization, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Security scanning/monitoring, directory      services and authentication, cross domain guards, load balancing, PKI      certificate management, OGC web services, databases, cloud computing, data pipeline,  uninterruptible power systems 
  • Must have the ability to use management/monitoring tools to assess Data Center health, analyze capacity management, and      evaluate risks associated with Data Center systems

  • Must be able to keep accurate documentation of Data Center systems and changes
  • Experience with commercial cloud computing environments and/or GOVcloud implementations is highly desired
  • Experience with “containerization” approaches for faster deployment of software capabilities is highly desired

CDDT is the longest running CDL training program in Omaha, having been training since 1971.  We offer full and half day classes and part time evenings and Saturdays.  


The schedule options are:Full time days Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm (4 weeks), Part time days would be either Mon-Fri 8am-12pm or Mon-Fri from 12:30pm-4:40pm (8 weeks),Part time nights and Saturdays Mon-Thur 4pm-6pm and Saturdays 8am-4:30pm (10 weeks).  The evening classes have changed for daylight savings time but will return to Mon-Thur 4pm-8pm (no Saturday) when daylight savings ends.

Utilization Review Specialist Position

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies has several openings for Utilization Review Specialists in our Omaha, NE. office. The Utilization Review Specialist ensures all aspects of an injured worker’s treatment requested by a provider is medically appropriate and is reviewed in compliance with state laws and company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Triage and manage intake coordination of medical treatment authorization requests.

· Reviews authorization requests for approval in accordance with evidence based medical treatment guidelines.

· Research claim file in relation to the requested medical treatment and interpret medical reports while utilizing critical thinking, and applies appropriate established guidelines to requested treatment.

· Advocate for the injured worker and claims department, ensuring proposed treatment requests are appropriate for the diagnosis.

· Escalate treatment requests outside of authorization authority for UR Nurse review.

· Ensures that utilization review processes are performed in accordance with the time limits and other requirements set by state law and company policy.

· Routinely contacts providers to clarify treatment requests, examination findings, as well as obtain additional medical information as needed.

· Gains and maintains a thorough understanding of company policies regarding the review of authorization requests by Utilization Review Specialists.

· Establishes and maintains a close, positive communication relationship and working partnership with Medical Bill Review staff to ensure effective and efficient integrated medical management of treatment provided to injured workers.

· Fosters a positive and close working relationship with other Company staff, including the claims staff, nurse case management, special investigations, legal, liens, the call center, and client services.

· Maintains patient confidentiality and safeguards protected health information in accordance with state and federal laws and company policies.

· Enters clear, concise, and accurate documentation of requested medical treatments to include clinical findings, treatment guidelines, and determination.

Medical Network Coordinator/Credentialing Position

             BASIC   FUNCTION

The Medical Network Coordinator will be   responsible for the development, oversight, and performance of the Company’s   medical networks and panels with the goal of providing injured workers with   effective and efficient medical care for the treatment of their compensable   injuries.

· Foster a positive and close working relationship with other   Company staff, including the adjusting staff, utilization review, medical   bill review, nursing services, special investigations, legal, lien   resolution, the call center, and client services.

· Provide information and support regarding medical networks and   panels in general and regarding issues arising from specific medical   treatment to other Company staff. 

· Provide oversight and analytics of selected providers within   the Company’s Medical Provider Networks. Work in tandem with Company’s data   analysts in creating and enhancing outcome measurements.

The key responsibilities for this position:

v Assist in planning and implementation of the daily programs in accordance with the Center philosophy

v Provide care, supervision, and plans developmentally appropriate for children in the center 

v Assist with the training and supervision of Assistant and Floating Teachers; 

The key skills required for this position:

v Experience in a childcare setting, or equivalent

v Knowledge of child development and age appropriate activities 

v Ability to work in a team environment 

v A Bachelors or Associates Degree in Early Childhood, or working towards the same would be an advantage

2. Contributes in parent involvement and the parent education program;

3. Plans and implements the daily programs in accordance with the Center philosophy; 4. Adjusts the daily program to meet the individual needs of children; 

5. Supervise the use of materials in the classroom;

6. Eat meals with the children and encourage develop of sound nutritional practices; 

7. Prepare periodic progress reports;

8. Attend parent group and Center functions; 

9. Conduct parent/teacher conferences upon request; 

10. Complete the housekeeping responsibilities and maintain an organized, and clean appearance; 

11. Attend staff meetings; 

12. Participate in recommended training sessions; 

13. Provide care, supervision, and plans developmentally appropriate for children in the center; 

14. Assist with the training and supervision of Assistant and Floating Teachers; 

15. Communicate with families about their child’s day and developmental progress; 

16. Supervise activities to ensure safety; 

17. Help children establish good hygiene habits; 

18. Change diapers and assist with toilet training; 

19. Maintain a professional attitude and loyalty to the Center.

Assistant Teacher 

1. Assists in the development of the Center’s curriculum by working with the Lead Teacher and the Director; 

2. Implements the daily programs in accordance with the Center philosophy; 

3. Adjusts the daily program to meet the individual needs of children; 

4. Supervise the use of materials in the classroom; 

5. Eat meals with the children and encourage develop of sound nutritional practices; 

6. Provide information for periodic progress reports; 

7. Complete the housekeeping responsibilities and maintain an organized, and clean appearance; 

8. Attend staff meetings; 

9. Participate in recommended training sessions; 

10. Communicate with families about their child’s day and developmental progress;
