PRODUCTION OPERATOR


The responsibilities of the DRY area production employee may include:

  • Working in the  manufacturing facility or production group assigned by supervision or      management.
  • Shipping, receiving or transferring of products, materials or components to be used, stored or sold by American Laboratories.
  • Assembly, operation and cleaning of process equipment which may include: granulators, delumpers, Fitzmills, ball mills, sifters,blenders and any other equipment used in      manufacturing processes.
  • Operation of test equipment such as pH meters.
  • Maintaining of work areas in neat and orderly fashion.
  • Maintaining equipment (minor repairs).
  • Follow current Good  Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Assist Plant Supervisor,  Production Supervisor, Production Staff and Quality Assurance in      troubleshooting and determining root cause of process deviations.
  • Assist Technical Services on process improvement and product development projects as assigned by supervisor.
  • Follow Safety SOPs and provide recommendations to the Safety Committee when appropriate.
  • Request repairs to equipment to supervisors and/or maintenance as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or management.
  • Physical requirements may include: working with enzyme products; occasionally rolling or moving drums weighing from 50 – 350 lbs, and lifting drums weighing up to 120 lbs; using material handling equipment such as barrel carts, dollies, pallet jacks and forklifts; bending, twisting and lifting material out of drums and boxes; working with and handling Hazardous Chemicals.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • May have little experience  working within American Laboratories or other cGMP facilities and will learn the production processes, equipment and documentation procedures on the job. Learning is typically working with experienced technicians and/or production supervisors.
  • Understanding and ability to perform basic math.
  • Read and understand written instructions. Write legibly.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma preferred, or the ability to competently perform processing procedure

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Capital Express warehouse sorters perform various tasks in a warehouse setting. Warehouse sorters work as a team to process all received packages before the end of shift. The main duties of the warehouse sorters include ensuring successful unloading, sorting and staging of goods, so they can be delivered to customers in a timely manner. Candidates will clean the work area at the end of shift.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Warehouse sorters perform physical labor and must be fit enough to lift packages that might weigh between 50 and 70 pounds.  Candidates must possess strong, active listening skills and demonstrate good, critical thinking skills.  Must demonstrate the ability to accurately follow directions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

CDDT is the longest running CDL training program in Omaha, having been training since 1971.  We offer full and half day classes and part time evenings and Saturdays.  


The schedule options are:Full time days Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm (4 weeks), Part time days would be either Mon-Fri 8am-12pm or Mon-Fri from 12:30pm-4:40pm (8 weeks),Part time nights and Saturdays Mon-Thur 4pm-6pm and Saturdays 8am-4:30pm (10 weeks).  The evening classes have changed for daylight savings time but will return to Mon-Thur 4pm-8pm (no Saturday) when daylight savings ends.

  • We start new classes every Monday. program is 160 hours of training, but will offer an extra 40 hours of training at no additional cost to the student if necessary.
  • We accept all forms of payment, state grants, VA benefits, and offer in house financing if necessary.  
  • Anyone that comes through CDDT will have lifetime job placement with us.

Stabilization Staff Coordinator A & B

Under the general supervision of the VP of Integrated & Behavioral Health Services, the Stabilization Staff Supervisor is responsible for the management of all community service programs. The Stabilization Staff Supervisor will aid the VP of Integrated & Behavioral Health Services in review and screening of referrals, intakes, authorization and coordination of services. Responsible for overseeing and developing the organization’s crisis stabilization programs through writing program, hiring, evaluating, training and supervision of Stabilization Workers. Stabilization Therapist

Under the direct supervision of the VP of Integrated & Behavioral Health Services, the Stabilization Therapist is responsible for the assessment, planning and implementation of treatment for clients in the Crisis Stabilization Program. The Stabilization Therapist will conduct weekly consultation meetings with the full Treatment Team to include families and other workers on the case. The position provides direct services onsite and in family homes which includes conducting group, individual and family therapy sessions. 

Stabilization Worker

The Stabilization Worker is primarily responsible for the care and supervision of youth participating in the Crisis Stabilization Program at the Omaha Home for Boys. Stabilization Workers are responsible for implementing assigned treatment services, maintaining accurate documentation or services and ensuring that the daily routine of the program is upheld. Stabilization Workers will be expected to transport clients and develop collaborative partnerships with the referring agencies. 

Skills Building (Evening/Weekend)

The Skill Builder supports client’s well-being by providing resources, educating families and individuals, working with youth, while maintaining client records and recording progress made by clients. The Skill Builder is expected to work in a collaborative manner with Clinicians and the full Stabilization Team referral sources and using a team approach in order to provide quality services for all clients. Skill Builders will keep records in compliance with company and agency policies and procedures. This position spends the majority of their time in the community and client homes. 

Janitor

The Janitor is responsible for cleaning and supplying designated building areas.  The janitor must have integrity and the ability to work independently.  The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.
