Description- 

Heritage Communities are looking for Certified Medication Aides/ Certified Nursing Aide (CMA/CNA) to join our great team! The primary role of our Certified Medication Aide Certified Nursing Assistants (CMA/CAN ) at Heritage Communities is centered support and assistance to residents allowing them to enjoy their highest level of independence while receiving the necessary care and service to meet their changing needs.

The CareStaff at Heritage Communities provides resident care services and administration of medications which includes charting, reporting and monitoring resident’s condition. These associates require a Certified Nurse Assistant/Aides and Certified Medication Aides in addition to their responsibilities.

Qualifications:Preferred 1 Year experience, but not necessary. CNA or 40 hour Med Aide License Required CMA

Job Responsibilities:Offers resident assistance in personal care, health maintenance and daily activities of living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transfers, ambulation, toileting and serving of meals and laundry.

Administers medication as requested by the resident and in accordance with Nebraska regulations governing the provision of medications by the Medication Aide-40 certification.

Provides assistance to and from activities, appointments in accordance with service agreement while encouraging as much independence as appropriate for each individual.

SUMMARY: To assist the Press Operator with the operation and production of the Web Press.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare the rolls of paper for the press converting process.

Load the rolls of paper on to the Martin Butt Splicer.

Monitor and document the material width.

Prepare the Butt Splicer for operation.

Monitor product requirements and unload the product from the Jogger Stacker.

Load the finished product on to skids, identify color, type, quantity and band skids for warehouse storage.

Position Description:

Operates the Gluer Machine to ensure proper adhesion of front and back product.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all safety procedures are followed in the operation of the gluer.

2. Adhere to all quality control standards. Ensure bible procedures and instructions are followed.

3. Oversee and direct employees assigned to the machine center.

4. Operate and monitor all functions of the gluer as necessary.

5. Utilize the “Trouble Shooting” guide procedures for improving the through-put efficiency.

6. Ensure general upkeep of the machine is maintained satisfactorily.

7. Verify completion and accuracy of all shift reports and logs.

8. Train designated back up operator in all functions and duties of the “Gluer Operator” position.

9. Attain daily shift minimum production requirements and lead crew in the achievement of

the shift production goal.

10. Keep area clean and organized at all times. 

11. Communicate and coordinate with the 

Shift Supervisor on all of the above responsibilities.

1. Oversee and perform the prescribed “Start-up Procedures” of the gluer operation.

2. Communicate with the Feeder Operators and Checkers before the start up of each form for any special instructions, changes, problems, etc.

3. Check schedule, and make sure the quantities listed have been collated. Make sure you have enough index to complete the run (Keep sections equal.)

4. Initial the “bible report sheet” indicating you have read and understand the prescribed procedures.

5. Continually monitor glue pattern, plate and impression for proper settings.

6. Keep track of quantity of index waste.

7. Complete production reports and all other shift reports.

8. Contact Supervisor immediately if production, safety or quality standards are not being satisfied.

9. Ensure the designated back up operator performs the required job functions of the prime operator a minimum of 25% of the time for cross training purposes.

10. Perform the job functions of a Feeder Operator or Checker as necessary.

11. Perform other duties assigned by management.

CDL TRaining

Get Your CDL

CDDT is the longest running CDL training program in Omaha, having been training since 1971.  We offer full and half day classes and part time evenings and Saturdays.  


The schedule options are:Full time days Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm (4 weeks), Part time days would be either Mon-Fri 8am-12pm or Mon-Fri from 12:30pm-4:40pm (8 weeks),Part time nights and Saturdays Mon-Thur 4pm-6pm and Saturdays 8am-4:30pm (10 weeks).  The evening classes have changed for daylight savings time but will return to Mon-Thur 4pm-8pm (no Saturday) when daylight savings ends.

  • We start new classes every Monday. program is 160 hours of training, but will offer an extra 40 hours of training at no additional cost to the student if necessary.
